Services

Services provided by Prairie Center are partially funded through federal, state and local grants.  No one in need is turned away because of inability to pay for services, however, state grants do not cover all costs. Consequently, co-payments may be required based on type of service and ability to pay.

Fees
Self pay, insurance, Medicaid, and other third party payment is accepted. Sliding fee scales are available to those clients unable to cover the full cost of treatment who meet family size, income, and residence criteria.  Funding provided in whole or in part by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, Illinois Department of Children & Family Services, Champaign County Mental Health 708 Board, Vermilion County Mental Health 708 Board, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services—Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, other area agencies, and private donations.

Licensure
Prairie Center Health Systems, Inc. is licensed by the Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, Illinois Department of Human Services.
